Sky+ box to backup to computer hard drive?

My Pace Sky+ box doesnt have component connection only scart and RF, is there anyway I can convert it to Component or anything so I can connect it to a Capture device as HDMI is has content protection.

All I want to do is backup programs on sky box and burn to dvd on my computer.

nope, SKY+ recordings are encrypted last i read.

e: sorry read that as you want to read the SKY hard drive. it might be possible to connect the output to some sort of recorder with the correct cables/converter box.

you could get a scart to composite lead that will do the job but some of the sky channels are still using macro encryption ( or they was ) usually the film channels i'm pretty sure the normal channels ie sk1 etc are clear through composite

you still obviously need a valid sky card to decrypt the channels in the first place

it's ok all sorted and working hdmi splitter to hdmi to rgb converter, connected to component cables to pvr.
