sizing question

im looking at getting some prints done and il be using DSCL after only hearing good things about them, i downloaded their fotosizer programme to batch re-size my pics but i need a bit of help

their preset sizes are 1280x800,1024x768,1600x1200 and such like, how do these measurements equate to inch's ie i want to print at 8x6/10x8 inch's etc

At 300 dpi an 8x6 would equate to 2400x1800, A 10x8 would be 3000x2400.

It's just simple maths. If you want to print at 300 dpi, multiply the size of the print in inches by 300 and you get the number of pixels. eg 8 inches x 300 dpi = 2400 pixels.
