Size of softbox for 580EX II

Hi,

I'm looking to get a softbox. Given the limited power of the flashgun (comparing to studio strobes), what is the biggest softbox I can get to be efficient? I'm not sure if that makes sense.

I will mostly be shooting 1 subject. I'm not quite sure about placement however I suppose as long it is able to light up 1 subject evenly.

I'm still rather new to this so I ain't sure if I'm answering you correctly.

I'm recommending portable solution and the size, not the brand.
The biggest of those two is 8"x9". Works under 6' I'd say.

full length or 3/4 or tight headshots?

a 24" (sq) softbox is meant to be great for 3/4 or shorter, for full length well 50" is an option but a tad excessive, have a look see what you can find between the two.

I use a 24" Ezybox and really rate it, bit worried about getting dark shins so haven't tried it on a full length adult yet
