hmm well whats happening with scotland? are they now fast becoming the laughing stock of international rugby? not the first time they lost to italy. looks like wooden spoon going north of the border this year

italy have come a long way since their introduction to the old 5 nations when they were losing by a good 30 - 40 point margin.

no longer are italy a side to be taken lightly, 2 weeks ago england struggled against them so it goes to show italy are a much improved side.

england need to up their game today or the irish (still a strong side after defeat in paris) will run away with the game today.

well done ireland, made the most of the opportunities presented to them. england couldnt capitalise on the territorial possesion. ref made a mistake on the penalty that led to the 2nd irish try, all credit to ireland for making the most of it. great game and no complaints about the scoreline.

certainly not the irish walkover that was predicted by the 'know-all' pundits
