On the odd occasion I like to make a quick video on my D610 for whatever reasons but can never get it to work properly.
I'm not that serious about it but wish for whatever video I take to at least be in focus. The way I usually do things is switch from aperture priority or whatever picture mode I'm using, into auto, then I turn on live view (with the video switch on) and press record. The problem is that it never seems to focus itself. I have to keep on moving the focus point and refocussing using the shutter button.
