Simple step x step NEF to jpg help (CaptureNX)

Pls help.
I'm not after image adjustment help etc. I'm getting the hang of that.
Just want a simple "select all" in a particular folder "convert to .jpg" max quality batch process. And to be able to specify the folder that the jpg's must go into.
Step by baby step instructions please. :baby:


RSE was great. Selected folder, saw all the thumbs, selected all, convert to, sit back & wait. No prob.

CaptureNX will not get the better of me!!!

Pete, this is how I do it...

Menu: Batch/Run Batch Process...

Source: Browse for your NEF folder

Select File format: JPEG

Advanced: Select 'Excellent Quality'. Slider should go to 100

Destination: Browse for your JPEG folder

Click 'OK'

I agree, RSE was great. I like Capture NX, especially the D-Lighting feature, but find it very slow to process. I think this may be a serious problem when I upgrade from D50 to D300, with NEF files over twice the size.
