The TP 52 - 2025 SimonB - 52 for 2025 - Week 52 - Done and all caught up!

A good mini-catch-up.

Err, the pedant in me needs to point out that woodlice are not insects either! They are crustaceans, like crabs and lobsters. Apparently they taste strongly of urine, but I cannot personally confirm this.
lol, I've been out pedanted, excellent! I didn't know that about wood louse or how they supposedly taste:puke:

Oh no! :ROFLMAO: I have failed so badly at this weeks theme! I must go back to school and learn what an insect is.

Everyday is a learning day!

Long time no see, motivation dropped off when my mum passed away after a long illness.

So I'm looking forward to cracking on and catching up on all the themes I've missed, nine at my last count, I think!

So weeks 35, 36 and 37 incoming. I will hopefully pop up a few photos over the next few days and catch up that way. I'll find the time to comment on all of your pictures too I am sure I have missed some amazing ones!

Week 35 - Snappers

A nice and easy one of the cat (rat killer) the only trouble was getting her to pose and not look at what I'm doing

Week 36 - Hands

I imagine there have been a few like this, but I haven't looked yet, put it into Lightroom and went a bit mad with the tweaking, and I think it came out ok.

Week 37 - Emotion

A bit of a shoehorn I suppose, as week 37 would be the beginning of September and no where near Halloween, but I have been thinking all week that this would be a good picture for the theme emotion.

Good catch-up Simon, looking forward to the rest of them.

So sorry to hear about your Mum...

Bah I lost motivation again, however I did manage to catch up! So my apologies for the lack of comments and feedback on my part. I certainly don't expect any feedback on my mass upload. I did actually have a bit of fun trying to think of pictures that would suit the themes within the house. Next year will be better! (he says)

39 Eye

So hard to get her to stay still for this picture!

40 Heavy

Every now and then I'll weigh myself to see if there's any change, the wife likes to shock me by sneaking her foot on as well.

41 Night

A quick picture of the street lamp from my window.

42 Autumn Colours

Autumn-ish the dried up leaves from my chili plant I am hoping to "over-winter"

43 Circles

An inspired moment when I emptied the washing machine.

44 Old vs New

I always enjoyed reading a lot but fell out of it when I was so easily distracted by the iPad. I now prefer reading my Kindle compared to a book, new tech beating the old?

45 Snappers

Saw this brave little Robin watching me setting up up the Christmas decorations a few weeks ago, thankfully he stayed around and did some poses and truthfully helped me find my joy in photography again.

and continue...

46 Urban Life

Just a local bus stop, which I think ticks the box.

47 Keys

Nice and easy!

48 Abstract

Had fun with this one, blurry focus and just waving the camera about on a long exposure.

49 High Contrast

I think this is classed as high contrast? The chili plant I am hoping to "over-winter"

50 Past

A blast from the past, a Sega Game Gear that is probably about 30 years old. Got one from eBay and decided to do it up to modern standards.

51 Reflections in glass

Ok, so it isn't glass, but I did quite like the reflection.

Yep nice take on it!

Well done for finishing, after what's been a tough year. A lovely last image too.

Well done!

Thank you!

Great take on the theme!

Thanks all, tried to think of something different.

Thank you, had to be quick with that picture as the sun was beginning to peek out.
