Silverstone - Brooklands

So I am lucky enough to be attending Silverstone at Brooklands and wondered if I could get some advise on what would be the best lens to take.

I have a D7000.

I am not sure what would be most suitable 200mm or 300mm.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

do you mean you are in the grandstand on the entry to brooklands corner? You can get all around Silverstone pretty easily.. Unless you are going to the GP on race day.

In the hospitality at Brooklands corner Its the lens choice I am struggling with?

depends what floor you are on. its got 4
the first two floors you will be shooting through the fence.
on the top floors you'll need at least 300mm to shoot cars on the complex and even then they wont fill your frame.
if i was you i'd use your camera hand to hold your bottle, and your other hand to hold your glass.

so, i'd say at least 300mm
