Thanks for the info but it would cost me £8 return by tube to get there, but hey if everything was 80% off I'd make that journey :)

Live a little Brian, go to the open day in the morning, the London Eye and a bit of shopping in the afternoon and maybe a nice meal and take in a show in the evening that way £8 will be only a small percentage of your overall spend and it won't seem that bad.

True....but I have this mental problem in that If I have to spend a large amount on entertainment? I think afterwards I could have bought a Nikon 105mm f2.5 or Canon 20mm etc for that..... and have years of pleasure. :help:

Surely the answer must be to go the Silverprint and buy a Nikon 105mm f2.5 or Canon 20mm. That way your £8 fare is still a small percentage of your total spend and you have bought a lens that will give you years of pleasure.:):):)
