Silverfast SE Plus - Will it really do batches?

I am using Silverfast SE plus 8 to scan batches of negatives. Can anyone tell me an easy way to scan a batch with file type set to JPEG, with Repair on and with film type set?

Am I right in thinking:

1. The Workflow method will not allow me to do it all.....
2. If I use the manual method, I have to change the setting for each negative individually. I cannot set the dust repair, file and film type for all negatives in the batch at the same time....

If anyone knows an easy way to get this to work, I would be interested to learn how it can be done.
