Silliest question ever - BLACK OR SILVER?!

lol! It's obviously a personal thing but I detest silver SLRs! It has to be black imo :thumbs:
 
I looked at silver and black. I preferred the black cos the silver looked tacky...:shrug: however...I didnt buy the D40 either....so thats another thing.
Most SLR's are black. If you want to be different go silver. Its personal choice at the en of the day.
 
The silver will probably show more scratches etc. than the black body
 
Back in the mists of time when I purchased a Nikon FM, I had to pay an extra £10 for a black one.
 
The lenses will still fit, regardless of whether you have a silver or black body. It's all down to personal preference, so get whatever you are happiest with.

oh god.....please buy a black one, you wont need to colour match eye shadow and nail varnish forever, Christmas is nearly over...

oh, yes ofcourse the black lenses will fit a silver body, and yes it will look terrible but not as terrible as a silver body with...silver lenses.......:puke:
 
Personal choice :)

I went for the silver D40 to be different, although I think the black one looks more "sophisticated"
 
Make sure the lens hood is black as well.......:boxer:
