Signatures in Paint Shop Pro x3

Assuming nothing much has changed in the menus since PSP X2, Get your file ready to where you want to apply a sig. Go to File, then Script > Start Recording. Add the text you want and whatever else. Then clcik stop recording (same menu). Save the scrit file, then next time you want to add the sig go to File > Script, and it should appear under the recently used scripts, just click it and there you go, your sig will be added.
 
Thanks for the reply. I have just tried to do it but, after start recording and typing text I dont have a stop recording option, only a pause recording and cancel recording neither of which highlight the save recording option. I must be missing something.:thinking:

Are you sure you clicked start recording before adding text? It worked fine for me just now.

Yep! I click start recording, type the text, go back to script menu to stop recording and as you can see from this screenshot there isn't a stop recording option only a pause and cancel option. There is a stop option in the top part of the box but it's not clickable. I know its recording because when I try to close the programe it says "there is a script recording do you want to close down".

Start again from the beginning. Open the document afresh, then click record before doing anything else, now add the text - is it still greyed out?

Tried & tried exactly has you say, no luck. The only way to stop recording is to either "cancel script" or close the programe down, either way there is no recent script saved. Does your version have a stop script option highlighted after you have recorded a script, because mine does'nt. I'm beat! I will just have to re-type it every time.:bang:

Hi, i have the same problem, ive got PSP X4, followed help above but the save recording is not lit.
 
Solution is simpleL You are trying to save the script before the text has been applied. You have to click the green tick icon on the text toolbar to apply the text to the image before you can do anything else to the image, including saving a script.
