Sigma super wide 2

Hi

I have a Sigma super wide 2 AF 24mm F/2.8 which works fine on the old canon 35mm camera but on the 350D it just gives error 99.

Which is a shame as it use to take some nice pics once....are these any use to people anymore or is it just going to sit in the bottom of the drawer

if its a really old lens then it may need to go to sigma for re-chipping to work on newer cameras

O yes it is an old lens i had it years ago and i got it 2nd hand at the time,
not sure if it is worth bothering with or not

Can always give them a phone and see if they can re-chip it - they might not have the parts. If you like the lens and the cost is reasonable why not?

They go for three or four times what they used to fetch on fleabay a few years ago...
