Sigma non-DG TCs?

I've been thinking of getting a 1.4 and 2.0 tc to go with my Sigma 300mm. I've found a place selling brand new 2.0 TC's at £80 because they're the non-DG version. Anyone know if the DG is really that much better?
 
tbh I think there will be little or no difference. The newer versions have different coatings on the glass but afaik they are identical in every other way.
 
Yeah thats what I was thinking but thought I'd ask, £80 is a lot cheaper than a DG version
 
OneStop will do them for £101 and £111 each delivered.
