Help please I’m looking at this piece of glass

Sigma DG 150-500mm F/4.5-6.3 APO DG OS Lens For Canon

Will this be ok with the 7dii?

What does the DG stand for?
 
DG is a full frame lens (and will work on crop too). DC is for crop only.

The 150-600 is a much better choice. It comes in two versions with the S being slightly better optically, but heavier and more expensive. And as mentioned above, DG refers to full-frame compatibility, DC is APS-C only.

Also consider the similar Tamron 150-600.
