Sigma flash

I have a Sigma EF 530 DGST flashgun whic I bought for a Nikon but I have been told it will work on any camera iTTL is this correct or wrong?

I think canon/nikon have different pin coms but am not 100%

third party gear make Canon or Nikon fit. They are not compatible

No its completely auto but you do have 3 setting to go at iTTLfull powerand 1/16th power
