Sigma DG500 & DG530 with 70D

Morning All.

So I have upgraded from my to a 70D my 500 Flash no longer operates correctly - Thanks Sigma.

So my question is, would i still be able to use this for off camera work?

It fires but get exposure and distance all wrong. so its well over exposed and near enough a white screen.

Also it appears you cant get into custom functions for the external flash.

Is it time to just bite the bullet and buy another cheap flash Youngnu?

It's not Sigma's fault that Canon has changed the flash protocols, but I know how you feel.

Contact Sigma and they may be able to upgrade the firmware in your flash.

I know just one of those annoying things isnt it.

Will probably just chuck it on ebay and buy a new one.
