SIGMA Auto Focus UC Zoom 70-210/Nikon D80

Would a SIGMA Auto Focus UC Zoom 70-210 fit and work on the nikon D80 body, it has the nikon mounts and I have the chance of one quite cheap?

I took the plunge with this and bought it, and yes it does, and with the aperture held open the metering works as well. My example was well used and the focusing ring feels a little sloppy.
