anyone got this lens? thinking of getting one and just wondered if anyone had some pics they could show me that they've taken with it please, and your opinions on the lens too please.

I have a Sigma 70-300 APO (screw drive focus ) that I used to use on my D90 before I got a Nikon 300mm f4. I found it a bit soft over 200mm wide open, better if stopped down to about f/8.

This was wide open f/5.6 at 300mm:

thanks mike:) second pic is a cracker and love the detail in the birds wing.

well pretty soon i should be owning a sigma 70-300mm and a nikon 50mm.
