I desperatly need a lens upgrade! Currently have the Sigma 70-300mm (the cheap one!)

Ive found a Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 APO EX DG Macro II at half price. Is it any good? Will mainly be used for Equestrian Event stuff.

Or anything better (for a Pentax fit)? Only got £400 to spend at the moment.

Lots of good reviews for this lens. I just sold mine last week and had a load of good results from it (although it was the version 1 I had) Only sold as I went for the Nikon version.
