Sigma 70-200 f2.8 + Converter?

Hi guys, still on the prowl for one of these.
Just wondering what the lens is like with the 1.4x and 2.0x converters?

Especially grateful for anyone with photos taken with the above!

It is good with 1.4TC (sigma), not so good with 2.0TC

I use this lens with the Sigma 1.4x converter and it gives excellent results.

There's a shot in my gallery of an F15 that was taken very much on the fly so it's not the greatest image I've ever taken but it shows that this lens and converter combination works well together.It was taken at 280mm (200mm + 1.4x) at f5.6, 1/1000 sec.

I used my 70-200mm f2.8 with the 1.4x teleconverter yesterday and to be honest I was rather impressed.

Here is the full uncropped shot .. note the bird top right.

Here is a 100% crop.

I cant fault mine with a Sigma 1.4TC.

Both cropped 100% or more.

Camera: Nikon D300
Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/800)
Aperture: f/4.0
Focal Length: 280 mm
ISO Speed: 1000

I have the 2.0TC which I bought on a whim from these forums but haven't had chance to use it yet.
