Sigma 70-200 F2.8 APO DG

Any good? I have my new 24-70 so want the next one on, so then i can get rid of the 55-200 i have.

I understand DG is for full frame and 35mm? So it's future proof if i ever win the lottery and can afford a D3

DG is a lens coating.

Sigma denote non-35mm compatible lenses as DC.

So yes - ok on the D3!

Yep, IMO just as good if not better than Canon's F2.8 IS.

Go for it mate it's a fantastic lens for the money Fits in very well with the 24-70mm you've already got.
