Decided on the body now looking at how to buy it,ime thinking this could be a nice lens,even a bit of macro with an ext tube,any one use it and have any thoughts they would like to share.

I bought this lens a while ago to go with my EM1. It is a cracking little lens which produces nice sharp images. It has one foible. Off the camera the lens rattles (apparently this is normal). It is a bit disconcerting but as soon as you attach it to the body the rattle disappears.

Don't let this put you off it is a very good lens and can be had for a reasonable price second hand.
 
A superb lens and a total performance bargain. I have it, and while it's not my most used lens, I would never part with it. Pin sharp at f2.8 with great colours, contrast and IQ. What's not to like:-)
 
I had the Sigma 30mm dn and the 60mm dn on a Sony NEX 6, and for the price, they are really good.

I see that they have also recently released/or going to release a Sigma 30mm 1.4 dn too. In the near future, the 60mm 1.4 dn might follow. When I did a search for the new 30 1.4 dn, it was priced at around £280.00
