SIGMA 500 SUPER FLASHGUN

Hi guys i was just wondering if the sigma 500 super flashgun is compatible with my CANON 400D I have the chance of buying one but i dont want to buy it if its no good

Amazing things you can find out with google. Think it's the 2nd paragraph says models for Canon, Nikon, Pentax and Sony.

I have the 500 ST super and it worked fine with my 350d and 50d. But it would not work with mates 60d, but just had a free rechip by sigma so now it should work with all canon models.

only got it back today so need to try it.

thanks guys i just picked up the flash today and i think it needs a rechip also so i will have to get in touch with sigma
its the EF-500 super EO model
i think this could be an early version of the 500
