Hi I just wondered what people thought about this lens. Sigma 30mm 1.4. I am going to be using it for Portrait photos. On my Canon 600d.
 
I'd want something a bit longer for portraits I found the nifty great on a crop body. The sigma is a good lens though and I believe they just refreshed it as part of the art lineup so it now has HSM focus and a shiny new body design.
 
I'm considering selling mine, the new model bought in september last year. I was looking for a walkabout lens, I wanted to go fixed focal to "improve my photography" but it seems that i'm not a fixed focal person. The new one is really well built. No problem of focus and gritty one like it was happening with the old one.

I'm not sure about the portrait use of it but if you look for one let me know.
