Sigma 28-300

Dose anyone have experience with the sigma 28-300

I have just baught one second hand and cant get a good picture from it
it seems to be washing out

i had this when i first got my camera and found the colours a bit dull etc. but after a bit of pp they werent too bad

after a play in lightroom

100% crop

thing is, when there is a massive focal length, there are going to have to be compromises. I tend to stick to a couple, i.e 18-55 and 75-300.

its never gonna take brilliant photos but it was fine for quick snaps etc.
i have a 17-55 and a 55-250 now btw, the 18-55 and the 28-300 will be for sale soon
