Compared to the Canon L? I wanted the Canon L but couldn't budget the price! This looks interesting.

Does it work on FF?

Ditto. I cant see it being near the quality tbh, its 4 times cheaper than the Canon.

Use code 'ootd5' 5% off for £223.15 and another 3% off via one of the cash back sites. May only be a £ or so but your monies better off in your pocket rather than in their tills.

Yeah this is what I thought. It's a shame it's so tough to get a f/2.8 zoom lens of decent quality without needing a second mortgage =/

DG lenses do, is the DC ones that don't.

Thanks for that, mate. I'm a Canon/Tokina person so I'm not sure on all the lingo jingo with the Sigma :D

Been doing a bit of reading this morning before ordering yes it's not quite as good as it's Canon equivelent but seems it's a very good Lens for the price if you get a good copy if not send it to Sigma to get it recalibrated might be a bit of a pain but well worth the cost saving, pretty sure its FF compatible to I'm sure Sigma lenses have DC in the name if they are crop body only.

Seems worth the risk if it's no good take it back or try it out instore before purchasing.
