Anyone used this lens? Is it worth £300 or there abouts?
 
I've got one, and I love it! It is worth the £600 saving over the Canon version again and again ;)

I was in Aberystwyth on Saturday and thought that the £320 they had on at on the shelf was a good price....

Good job i though about it, got home 2 days later and found the b****r for £229 on their website...! Picked it up from Huddersfield brance and jobs a good one...!
 
Just came on to ask the same question about this but on Sony mount, looks like i picked up the last one in the country (store transfer) for sub £100 :)
 
Remember that there are two versions that Sigma produce at the moment, the HSM one (circa £500) and the non-HSM one which is the £229 one.

I'm not too sure what the differences are though :s
 
How does this lens compare to the Nikon 24-70? Is this a full frame lens? Got my answer else where, for Sigma DC = DX, so this is full frame
 
Tamron only? What the heck is that supposed to mean? :D
