What Nikon donor body is the S1 based on?
If you can find that out, you should be able to look up on Sigma's compatibility list.
My gut feeling is that it'll be OK, but the S1 Pro is at least 87 years old in dog years, so who knows?
Might help to put S1 Pro in your subject title too (and a quesion mark)

It's based off of an N60.
It's the exact opposite to the Nikon D40/D60 in terms of focus compatibility! It will AF with AF-D and AF lenses, but not with AF-S. I don't know about AF-I.
The Sigma 24-70 (which Jessops have on sale right now) should work fine.
Sigma are releasing an HSM version imminently, which won't work on the N60/Fuji S1.
