iam about to switch to canon and have to decide whether to get a bundle for glass or buy body and choose a lens.
Iam after max telephoto for wildlife, but want a good day lens first for holiday and family walks ect.
Iam considering a sigma 18-250 which would cover most eventualities. probably getting a 550d but may stretch to 60d as they are starting to come down.
anyone have this lens and does it cope well at the two extremes.
also is there any way to extend range without loosing AF as i have been warned will happen with tc's.
