I have been offered a minty at a fair price. Any veiws or experience with this lens. Want for wildlife but have limited budget.

I've got one of these lens. It is ok in good light. Focus is slow and noisy. Can be a cheap way to get to 500mm.

I believe this lens was the predecessor of the 150-500 and is generally considered not to be quite so good as the latest offering. Depends on your budget and what the price is.
