Sigma 105 mm F1.4 DG HSM Art

Does anyone use this on their Nikon DSLR body - I'm looking at getting the Nikon 105mm f1.4 but all the reviews I read indicate that the Sigma is just as good, (or even better).

The Sigma appears to be (much) bigger

I'm just reluctant to move away from Nikon lenses as I have always bought Nikon and never been disappointed.

(just for reference, I can get a used, mint Nikon for the same price as a new Sigma)

The Sigma ART lenses are very good, very sharp lenses. I have had two of them and loved both.

The Sigma is HEAVY, it's not for run and gun shooting. You almost have to put it down between shots. That is the major down side of it.

If you are in a studio its not a problem but it's not something you put on a walk around with.
