Know a few people are intrested in this combination so I took mine out yesterday for a bit of a play. Equipment :- Sigma 10-20mm, Cokin P wide angle holder, HOYA Pro1 digital polariser, KOOD grey grad.

From what I can see the wide angle holder is okay as long as there is no other filters on the lens, the polariser is quite slim realy so it shows it doesnt take much. I did want to get a uv filter for this lens for a bit of protection but this will make things even worse if I was to use the polariser as well. HTH

Thanks for posting these. I got my 10-20 this afternoon and was wondering how much vignetting I would get using the Cokin wide angle adapter and grads. Seems like 11.5mm pretty much gets around it - slightly apparent but could be dealt with.

Yeah, same my end, I was using a Gold-n-Blue C-Pol and could back up to just over 11mm and then it was ok.

Thanks for this. I only have the normal Cokin Holder....but it's about to be butchered ;)

The 17-40L on the 5D has similar problems with filters. I tend not to bother with the holder and just put the filter against the face of the lens. Not too hard to hold after a bit of practice :)

Cos Ive got no need for it otherwise TBH. It only means taking a layer off, so I can only use one filter at a time.

I know what you mean. The way I change my lenses is almost paternal :p Ask Jimmy Lemon, I'm extra careful :p
