Does shooting video on a DSLR "use up" shutter actuations on the camera? Like taking a photo does?

Or not because it doesn't use the mirror?

Every time you activate Live View, it uses a shutter actuation.

If you are shooting video, then you'll use one shutter actuation each time you enter and leave Live view.

If you use Live View to focus a still image, and actually shoot in live view, then you'll actually use 3 actuations per shot: - Enter Live view = 1 actuation... taking the shot = 1 actuation... re-entering live view after the shot = 1 actuation.
