shots taken with ONE off camera light source. I'm really fond of some of the stuff Google and Flickr has been bringing up and I'm interested in seeing some of the TP members stuff.

Out of curiousity, I presume this was just diffused light from up, behind to the right of the camera ?

It's lit by a 4ft Octabox (you can see it in the sunglasses) with a 600w/s safari head inside which with that shot had it's mid point set to about 4ft off the ground. The Safari was set to full power and so completely overpowered the ambient.

Thanks Hacker, I never really considered lighting like this for outdoor stuff.

Mind you, your wedding shots are always awesome - I seem to recall taking some inspiration* from a wedding you did last year with two strobes during the first dance

* - Inspiration, also means that I blatantly copied your idea
