Apoogies if this is the wrong section, but it seemed most appropriate.

As above, id like to see some pics taken with this lens, ive had one for a while now, but never had a chance to test it out, although i will tomorrow!

I just thought it would be interetsing to see some images taken with one, thanks,

Dean.

Do you have the apo dg version? Heres some off mine

I'll be keeping my eye on this thread. Thinking about getting one of these lens and it will be good to see the quality of the photos

This lens is a bit soft wide open over 200mm, stopped down it is pretty sharp.

Ok, what did you do to surprise it so much??!

I pointed a camera at it and took its photo. :D

I took this in South Africa last year, in a suburban garden in Johannesburg.
These birds are mainly nocturnal, hence the big striking eyes. "Dikkop" means thick head in Afrikaans, the head being so big to fit the eyes in. ;)

Don't forget to have a look on Pixel Peeper for shots from a certain lens ;)

Its a great shot, made me smile!

One of my probable last with the 70-300 as my Nikon 300mm F4 prime will arrive this week and so overtaking the sigma in priority lens.

Still will use it though for when 300 is too long...
