Hi all,

I need to buy a new shoulder bag to store my D7000 with 18-105 and 70-300 lenses.
What I've noticed is lots of bags show the camera stored lens-down with the rear screen facing up; which for ease of handling seems a good idea, but I was concerned about the weight of camera and lens all sat on the end of the lens. Are they OK like this?

Also, If I take both lenses with me I end up stuffing one in my pocket which is quite uncomfortable, so I thought about getting a lens pouch with some kind of belt attachment. What I want is something like this but without a big strap to go around my waist. I did see this, but the weedy velcro fastening concerns me. Can anyone recommend a product please?

Sadly all my local store carries are large expensive bags and rucksacks so I'll probably need to buy online.

Thanks!

Yes it's fine. It's only 1kg or so average both the body and the lens. Either way you stack it, it's going to be the same amount of forces.

However, if you are travelling, like putting the camera on a plane, detach them.
