Should thin people subsidise fat people?

Well I always enjoyed an Elephant leg kebab, seen what goes in saveloys and faggots, like them as well.
Fish and chips is hardly healthy or a big fry up breakfast, but very enjoyable whatever.
always wondered which is the head and which is the arse on them kebab things I guess there threaded head down as thats always the fattest

Had a kebab house at the end of my turning, used to see them making the leg up most mornings.
Long sausage like minced meat squashed together and packed round the central skewer.

Did a good trade and got through a whole leg in no time, my mate lived in the flat above it and got a discount.
Had an Indian, caff and chippy other end of the road, Chinese just up the main road, two pubs as well.
All about location and that place had it all, even a pie and mash place in the high street

My guesstimate is that people who die young are cheaper for society.

That was the subject of a classic episode of "Yes, Prime Minister". The health minister has come up with a radical plan to eliminate smoking via an advertising ban and big tax rises. But Sir Humphrey points out that large numbers of people dying early save the Treasury more in terms of pensions and benefit payments than it currently pays out in medical expenses, and the plan is scuppered. It's quite plausible.

Indeed, there is also quite a lot of research that shows (maybe counter intuitively) thats the case https://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/05/health/05iht-obese.1.9748884.html

I don’t see it as counter intuitive! Maybe I have an odd view of life?

Thrown into the mix for fun.
A healthy 35 year old biker gets knocked off his bike into the path of a car in the next lane of the M1. Almost dead at the scene, but motorway closed and air ambulances to hospital where he dies on the table an hour later, what’s the cost to sort that out?
It runs into millions, proves nothing except:
We’ve all got to die of something
Isn’t it amazing that we have the NHS and emergency services free at the point of need.

I think we do actually pay for it albeit indirectly
I think that is quite probably the strangest thing I've ever seen written on this forum. EVERYTHING has to be paid for, one way or another. EVERYTHING.

Air to breathe, Sex although maybe not for you if taken at your word

I’d only visit another McDonalds if I was literally starving and there was no other option.

Last couple of times I've been into a MuckBurger, it's been to lay some cable, commonly known as a McPoo. Worth every penny that the (conscience) coffee cost and the coffee was almost decent.

As for the original question, yes they should - buy me bacon sarnies!

I don't know, there are way too many people who will take what they can from others without paying for it, make a living out of it and probably never have a proper tax paying job.

Clearly your comprehension skills are on a par with your palate. ;)

That's the problem only eating in fast food places, no need to read, just point at the picture.

No doubt a professional photographer has to take those photos., wondee where do principles begin and end

Glad I stopped riding bikes. You can see why bikers are konwn as donors...
