A recently purchased camera came complete with a roll of exposed film.

I emailed the vendor and asked whether he wanted it back and got no reply.

The cannister tells me it is/was Ektar 25 36 exposures and whilst it could be a homeload, both ends of the cannister look undisturbed so that's probably what it is.

So, do I chuck it or do I get it dev'd (and explain the situation to the developing shop involved just in case...)?

What would you do?

Well it's gone for dev. I explained the fact that it came with a camera in the shop and got a very knowing look from the old fellow.

I have to say had I seen these first I wouldn't have bought the camera but I know that there's nought wrong with the camera. Maybe the film wasn't shot in the camera I bought... maybe this was old Ektar 25: I have no way of knowing now but all frames have benefited from auto levels and auto colour in Elements.

H'mm you can't go wrong with a Zuiko lens and I can see potential sharpness in the first shot......so it's Agfa Vista and Tesco for a test.
