No
just seen a 5dm3 With 24-105 lens for £1850 it's an ex display that has a few scratches on the top, that's all that is putting me off.

Other wise it's a d750 from panamoz

Got my D750 from Panamoz Jen and most of my lenses over the years, can't fault them.

Don't worry about going with grey import. You shouldn't have any issues as long as you go with a reputable company such as Panamoz or Digitalrev etc.

I'm not worried about it being a grey import, just wondered if a demo 5d was a good deal at that price.

Well you can get a brand new 5d3 with the 24-105 for £1,874 from Panamoz? An extra £24 for an unused undamaged camera seems a no brainier!

I think this was a follow on from her previous thread...

Ex display can mean many things, sat in a glass cabinet or lent to any tom dick or harry to try, sorry tom, dick and harry

Having just read your other thread about either the 6D or the D750, Why not look at the 5D3 from Panamoz, it isn't much more than the ex demo and it's a new camera. My reasoning is on your other post you mentioned that you had tried the Nikon and struggled with the menus, whilst you may get used to them, it is a risk and for me a very expensive risk. You also commented that ultimately you would like the 5D3.

It has a superior focus system to the 6D although the 6D is supposed to be marginally better in low light (by about 1 stop). I know which way I went

I have owned both and currently have 2x D750. It is literally better in every single regard compared to the MK3. Canon have some nice 1.2 glass though.....

...which brings me back to a much argued point I made about Canon lenses in the original thread :)

It's image quality specifically ability to recover shadows is in a different league ! The video capabilities are much better too. The MK3 has a great af system but the D750s ability to accurately lock on it low light is better. AF tracking in my experience is also much more consistent

There couldn't have been much in it.

What made you change? Did you own both at the same time?
