I think I probably know the answer to this question, but I just wanted a second opinion ...
I was taking pics today with the camera set up to save as raw and jpeg. I was shooting a bungee jump and had the camera set to continuous shoot. Firstly, I wasn't getting the normal fps and secondly, when I looked at the pics, some of the jpegs have lines down them, like they haven't written properly.
I'm thinking this is all down to the extra time it takes to write raw files... would I be right?
