Shooting Aquarium Fish, Any Suggestions?

Tips ? Pointers?

Love to see people's examples

This is the best I managed the other day, but not tried putting any lights up etc which would have probably helped

I know one of the suggestions is to get a rubber lens hood, and to keep it in contact with the glass in order to cut out the problem of reflections.

This is what I was trying to do last night, and I failed miserably. I think the problem was the fish tank glass was the focus point and not the fish behind it.

Then may I suggest you use Manual focus with the lens as close to the glass as possible- should help
