Hi all,

not sure if it`s ok to upload here pictures of other photographers so if there should be any troubles, please notice me so i can delete them.

So basically i want to know what are the rules for shooting portraits against the sun. I just fell in love with this kind of lightning and wandering whether some reflector would do the job (as it doesn`t look to me like some additional light source was used). Also i`m loving the glare from the sun, i just adore how she is able to work with light and make those pictures so gentle yet stunning.

Many thanks for all answers.

Those are nice. They have an almost dream-like quality. I'd say they are probably filled by flash and a large reflector.

I'm hoping that someone more knowledgeable will come in and expand on that and speculate on what settings.

Indeed these are nice shot's, not sure if fill flash has been used though, as i would have thought this would blow the shadows out on 1 at the bottom of there feet, and on 2 under the brides right arm, although on 2 it does look like a large reflector could have been used, but i'm no expert on this, i'm sure there are some on here who will know exactly how they were done though :)
