Hi I was thinking about a shoot with dripping or splashing paint on the model. But not sure what to use. Acrylic paint seems to be very colorfull but I'm worried about alergic reaction. There is another option to use some food coloring but it will be too think to look like paint. Does anyone have any suggestions regarding this?
Regards

Don't use acrylic!
Just because a paint says non-toxic does not mean an allergic reaction will not occur.
Imagine the damage you can do to someone's skin and the legal fall out!

To be on the safe side you should use a proper face/body paint such as: http://sillyfarm.com/shop/body-painting/makeup-paints

You should be able to find a UK supplier easily.

These paints are not cheap but compared with being sued...

Paint is usually opaque, whilst food colouring usually goes transparent, though you could mix it with milk and glycerin. Be aware that some food colouring stains skin (it may not fade unitl the skin wears away) so you might have to deal with a grumpy model that can't work for a bit.

I just had a few shoots with festival color powder and it seem to just corn starch and food coloring and it washed out with no problem. But thanks for the advices regarding stains and acrylic ill keep that in mind!
