Shoot through or reflective

As previous said I'm borrowing a flash head for my shoot on Saturday should I use a white shoot through brolly or a silver reflective one, its a family shoot with white bg that is continuously lit.

I'm used to off camera flash with shoot through, this lighting feels like I'm starting photography all over lol

Shoot-through. Easier, and will suit the white background better IMHO, but there are no right or wrong answers.
