...and thank God the nutter didn't.
There is that, but it shows that people kill people even without guns.
I wonder what the motive was?
I haven't heard a motive yet but I expect it won't be much different to all the other cowboy nutjobs.
In Sweden? I wonder if it will even be published...
Thread title made me chuckle.
As opposed to a run-of-the-mill sword attack?![]()
Run of the mill sword attack. Not quite as dramatic though.
"Sword attack".
That's drama enough.
There's no doubt that people can kill with literally almost anything if they really want to - stones, cushions and even frying pans. Guns just make it so much easier to kill things, lots of things, quickly.

and so would the police units deployed to such an incident in the UK.

It is foreign news in the USA. so I doubt it will be there.
The last school attack in Sweden was in 1961 so hardly competes with the USA.

Sweden was typically a very safe country but there have been reports of a massive upsurge in crime...

In the last case, it seems that the weapon was intended to intimidate rather than be used, so it would make little difference if it were a sword or gun.Or scotland

Or Liverpool

And those are the ones I can instantly think of.
I like shocking as a word...I am still shocked of such savage and lunatic behaviours. I am looking forward to learning more about the perps, but its such a sad event. I am shocked. Shock may swing to outrage later....
I like asinine as a word.
I like trolling.
FTFY !
Where are we going? Here we go![]()
Apparently the Police have found "interesting" things at his address.
My money's on swastikas etc and he's a young loner into his far-right, anti immigration stuff.
Could be. Who knows...could be jihad or anything
Could be. It'll all come out in the wash.
It is a distinct possibility IMHO. I really hope I am wrong.
Don't take this off topic of the OP otherwise people will be getting time out
