weekly Shirleyr's 52 ~ 2016 ~ Week 52 ~ Celebration

Week 50 ~ Male & Female. I expect she is hanging onto his wallet incase he runs away, I searched for this sign all week, the nearest one was 20 miles away. What lengths do I take to get it right. By getting this theme right I've got the most stunning photos for Out and About and took them after the theme was posted.

Week 51 ~ Out and About Hills over Porthmadog, I'm going to put on FB to see if any friends can name that big hill. It was taken about 3pm not 5.42 Edif got home at 4pm. Cameras clock is wrong.

Male / Female, nicely thought out Shirley, your getting the idea ;)

Out and about, nice sun / shadows on the hills..
Cameras clock is wrong.
You know what they say, if it has wheels or tits sooner or later it'll give you trouble :D

Oh wait though
:D

Hi Shirley,
Male / Female - I had pondered that shot too, but having done a road sign earlier in the year, decided not too. Spot on theme IMO.
It could perhaps do with a tweak to the contrast and the black / white points. I'd like the people on the sign to be a bit darker.
Out and About - Well, that was quick!!! Lovely bit of scenery you've got there in your backyard :) I think my previous comments on contrast & black / white points could be applied here too.
Feel free to ignore my editing comments though, it's purely my preference, your preference may be completely different.

Male / Female - Well spotted! Poor bendy people... and the composition works in my opinion.
Out and About - Nice landscape shot, great light and shadow. But I agree with Tim that it could do with a little more contrast.

Nice fun take on Male/Female Shirley and that view for Out & About, particularly with that light, is stunning.

I don't ignore them just thinking about how to make the white whiter without making changing the black.

I did put a lot of contrast as it was almost covered with mist.

Couple of nice shots, like the sign well thought out.

Thanks

Take a look at almost any of Tony & Chelsea Northrup's weekly "T&C Live" archive videos.
Within them they review loks of images, and one of the things they do a lot of is playing with the black & white points in the image. I' not sure what software you use (so what sliders you would need to sue to do what they do), but hopefully you'll see what I mean about emphasising the black / white points in some of your images.

Nice choice for male/female Shirley - and I admire your dedication!
Out and about is lovely - nicely composed too. I do agree with the comments about black and white points, but it's a very pretty shot as it is.
