Off to Sheppey for the weekend just to kind of get away and thought I would do some Photos when I am away to give me something to do, never been to Sheppey before but it came up cheap so....

Anyway I am travelling by Bike so need to Travel light, my question is do I take my big DSLR or would something like the Fuji XF1 which I see has its own cult following on here, anyway would this be able to make some decent creative shots? trying to fit everything clothes and all in a 35litre top box.


Oh and the types of Photos I am after is a few landscape, low light and just a bit of general walk about

I would go with the XF1 and travel light. I would also look at travelling along the coast to Whitstable which has some nice areas including the docks, Reculver towers, which can be quite photogenic which is slightly further East and then Ramsgate and Broadstairs, which also has some good photo opportunities. As to landscapes, nothing as spectacular as Wales or Scotland, but the landscape has it's own charms, with villages, windmills and very pleasant rural scenes, but you need to go off the A roads and just follow the small country lanes to see the best bits.
