Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce school parents race.

I don't see a problem with that. Back in the day, I used to enter regional cycling time trials over 10 or 25 miles. At that time it was quite common for Chris Boardman or Graeme Obree to be competing. I knew I didn't stand any chance of winning, but at least I can say I (sort of) competed against them.

It does highlight the difference between us ordinary folk and those who sacrifice their so much of their time to the huge amount of training and honing their techniques.

It seems illogical to me to allow someone, who's spent their life training for an event, to compete in a school sports day.

Mind you, it tells us much about this Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, that she'd consider taking part in the first place.

Not sure what the attendance at that school's open/sports day is like but it looks pretty busy in the video shown - perhaps because the athlete was known to be turning up and "competing".
