SHARING A GIF

I have made a gif which i want to share on FB, when uploaded it went on as a single image,
then put on as file which goes to gif as a link and it works ok, is there a way to show the actual gif without using a link on FB,

Thanks i have looked at both of those before i posted, i never post on here without doing any research first, the giphy goes on as a static image and the facebook help page points towards giphy, guess they dont want FB clogged up with GIF.
Thought someone might have had a different method.
